Accessibility

Our goal

We want everyone to be able to use chimney-sweep.it.com and book a chimney cleaning. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

What we have done

• Images have alt text.
• We tested color contrast for dark text on the off-white background and for white text on teal.
• You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and the focus outline is visible.
• Form fields have real labels. The form shows one step at a time. Errors are explained in text.
• Headings follow a logical order.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall and wide for touch.
• The layout reflows to fit screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
• If your device asks for reduced motion, we reduce animation.

Known limitations

We have tested the site with a keyboard and with automated contrast checks. We have not yet done a full screen reader audit, so some parts may not work well with a screen reader.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, please tell us through the booking form and describe the problem in the notes. We will use your feedback to fix it.
